Advantages and disadvantages of social media. There are multiple advantages of social media, to name a few advantages; worldwide communities available, multiple interactions with large quantities of people, able to link other websites for advertisement, etc. These are ways to get a lot of boost in your advertisement and an increase in sales. This is due to Facebook or other social media sites being sought after by so many people.
It is the ultimate way to communicate these days and allows developers to fully put out their product. There are also disadvantages of this as well, some of the disadvantages of social media include; taking up a lot of time, not able to be as productive due to always updating, if social media or internet were to crash nothing would get accomplished as far as advertisement, possible bad reviews, etc. These are all negative to the developer/advertiser. If the social media network world were to shut down for a day or more there would be nothing being said about the game in this instance that would in turn make it impossible for people to see anything.
This would make all the money saved on advertising actually go into advertisement a different way. The best way to advertise is to use an assortment of different ways, that way if one thing fails you always have a backup to still get the info needed to get out there out. Social media is used so much these days it’s only a matter of time before there is a server overload and it has to get shut down for a little while to rebuild.

...11, 2013 Title of your paper: Social Media in the work place Introduction Some employers use the internet to hire future employees meaning most of their applications are done online. Some employer uses it to promote their business, for examples they use it to put different advertisement ads out. The main problem with networking in the workplace is that most people use the internet for the wrong reason. For example a hiring manager supposed to online looking for new employees that fit the needs of an opening a business may have and instead they are looking at porn. Not only have the company paid him all day to do his job that he is not during they still don’t have any potential on the opening that they have available. So either way it go the company is losing money. So if you look at it networking can be a good thing and it could be a bad thing in a business stand point. I don’t think banning social networking from business should be an option but I do think that it should limited access on what sites that they may and may not be able to access form a work computer. If they do get caught during something on a computer that is not work related should be punished or they should just lose their job all around. I think that if they make it clear what the internet is supposed to be used for in the work place and put strict rules and stick to them that they should not have a major problem. ...The case is about who should bear the bulk of advertising expense. Attorney A says Attorney B should pay more since advertising dollars expended generated more WC cases. Without doing descriptive analysis to make an inference, the data does support hypothesis that increased expenditures generated more WC cases over 42-month period. Hypothesis can be rejected for PI cases. However, month 24, 830 dollars was spent and 45 cases were generated. Week 15, 13605 was expended, yet they only generated 37 new cases. This shows there isn’t a causal relationship between the amount of money spent and the total number of cases generated. Post 2 Doing the Descriptive Statistical Analysis for the LEGALADV Case…   1. Social Media

...Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and all of their other social media websites. Because so many people are using social media today, marketers and advertisers would be smart to understand social media and how it works. Technology has been growing and changing drastically over the past decade, a shocking 94 percent of marketing executives said that they are likely to spend more on social media over the next 3 years (Burton, 2011, p. 491). This shows that many marketers agree that social media is important for their business, but it is important to understand why. Some people might think you can still depend on television commercials or magazine pages for advertisements, but the truth is that the internet is a huge part of our lives now and it deals with everything we do every day. Also in the past decade, the old version of the internet has completely transformed due to the introduction of social media. The internet has turned into “an interactive and multidimensional Web”; now instead of just being for information, it is also used for influence the costumer (Simula, 2013, p. 124). The reason this is important is because it shows why the internet is so influential on our daily lives and why marketing executives should remember that. A lot of the research shows that social media is becoming more and more popular, and it also shows that much of marketing now uses social media to help the business. To describe how popular social media is for consumers, Kunz (2013) says “one-third......

Social Media

...Social Media in Criminal Justice Administration Analysis Leo/593 25 January 2016 The media and law enforcement really seems to have a very dysfunctional relationship. While there are many examples of where both media and law enforcement cooperate very well together, more often than not, the relationship tends to tilt to the negative side. This relationship has even gotten worse as an effect of the most recent events. The textbook says that the media’s main focus is to generate profits. With that mindset of always wanting to make money, the media will sometimes make decisions to reveal things to the general public that are not entirely true. As an effect, that could cause the public to lose respect for law enforcement. An example of this can be seen from the events that took place in Ferguson, Missouri where teen Michael Brown was shot and killed by a police officer and eventually led to riots in the streets. These events happened because multiple media outlets decided to tell the public details about the shooting before any actual investigation could figure out what happened. The media kept spitting out information about the incident that made the Ferguson police department look bad. The police department could not defend themselves from these accusations because they could not give out any information about an ongoing investigation. Furthermore, the rise of technological advancements like social media outlets, i.e. Facebook and Twitter, are potential dangers that are......
