In this short essay I will discuss the program Snagit 13. I will explain how this program can be useful to use at home. I will also discuss how and if I would use this program in the future. I will now start with how this program can be useful. This program useful at home or any personal computer. If you are looking for a certain video on YouTube and you finally found it, this program will allow you to take a video of the video. If you are having an issue with your computer and can’t fix it yourself, you can take a screen capture and send it to a friend who knows how to fix computers and can fix your problem. I know taking your computer to a PC repair place can get pretty expensive, with this program you can see if a friend can fix it first. I believe that I would use this program in the future, because I still don’t know too much about computers. Instead of me trying to explain over the phone with my computer friend what the problem I would send him a screen capture instead, this way he could see what I am seeing on my end. In this essay, I explained the program Snagit 13. How this program can be useful at home for a couple of reasons. The first reason of finally finding a video from YouTube that you wanted and having computer issues that a friend could fix over the phone instead of taking the computer to a PC repair place. I also explained how I would use this program in the future.…...

I have broken down the steps in which accessing the database can be an easy experience even for those that are not experienced with Telnet sessions. The tool I used to take my screen shots is SnagIt 11 which is a great tool for capturing screen shots especially inside a telnet session or remote desktop. The program allows for capturing the image you want without have to crop it which would happen using the Ctrl-Print Screen option which will capture your entire desktop work space. The first steps in accessing the Strayer University Oracle server is making sure you have a good telnet session in which to remote into the server. As described in the Strayer University procedures I’ll be showing this telnet session using the program Putty. There are many other telnet programs available to advanced users such as IBM’s 3270 and Microsoft Telnet that can be used as well. First step to accessing an Oracle Server via a Telnet session is actually configuring the session to make the connection to the server happen. Below shows the setup within Putty to establish the connection: Configure the Host Name or IP address to the Oracle server and Port number are the biggest part of making the connection happen. Once this information has been setup you are able to create it as a saved session so...

Screenshots Screenshots are simply pictures of what you can see displayed on a computer screen. If you want to capture exactly what a user was doing, or specific displays, a screenshot is the perfect solution. For example, Figure 11.1, shown previously, is a screenshot of Windows Explorer. You can save screenshots as graphics files and embed these graphics into documents. Many operating systems include the ability to capture the screen and save it to the Clipboard. For example, you can capture the screen of almost any system by pressing the PrtScn key found on most keyboards. Many applications such as Snagit allow you to capture screenshots from specific windows or applications, any region of the screen, and even scrolling windows such as a long web page.
