Online media zijn niet meer weg te denken uit ons leven. Continu zijn we online bereikbaar en beschikbaar. Onze netwerken zijn groter dan ooit, 400 vrienden op Facebook is niets. We delen alles met elkaar en de snelheid waarmee we dat doen is ongeëvenaard. Merken zijn niet meer van een bedrijf maar van de consument. Als het bedrijf GAP een nieuw logo ontwerpt en we vinden het niet mooi, dan kan het zomaar gebeuren dat GAP de hele vernieuwing terug moet draaien. ( ) Niets blijft meer geheim voor ons, we prikken gemakkelijk door alle marketingverhalen heen.
In deze veranderde en nog steeds veranderende wereld moeten bedrijven opnieuw nadenken over hun plaats. Over de wijze waarop ze hun verkoop en marketing inrichten en uitvoeren.
