At this time our company has been faced with a significant change through the merger with EnviroTech, Inc. This is a significant phase for both InterClean and EnviroTech when consolidating and I look forward to working with each of you as vital players in actively contributing to the long-term goals and success of this company.

This memorandum is for you, as managers, to understand how to be prepared to adapt to the challenges of the merger, especially in regard to three particular areas: management behavior and productivity, management action that align with employment laws and best methods for working within an assorted background.

Management Behavior and Productivity

Management will conduct his or her actions in a positive and ethical manner according to company policies and procedures. High productivity is produced in an environment of contentment; proper guidance helps generate workplace satisfaction.

Employees look to their supervisors not only for direction, but also for leadership and vision.
Expectations can make or break a person’s performance. If a manager sets expectations too high, staff may experience a feeling of ineffectuality and function at a lower level. Similarly, if expectations are too low, an employee may only perform up to that standard and never reach full potential. Employees can experience confusion without someone showing them the way to be successful.

Beyond personal expectations lies company policy. If a person is uncertain or discontented with the general direction of the company, individual expectations lose their importance. Employees need to know where the company is going and how they will fit into the plan. Everyone needs to have the feeling as if they are making a contribution.
