Originally named Amazin’ Software, Electronic Arts (EA) is an American developer, marketer, publisher, and distributor of computer and video games. The company was established in 1982 by Trip Hawkins and the company was a pioneer during the early home computer games industry. Hawkins has asserted that he had a goal to produce “software that makes a personal computer worth owning” (Hawkins, 2006, P.N.A). EA was solely a publisher for the first few years and exclusively published for home computers. They began developing games in the late 1980s and started supporting consoles in the early 1990s. (Wolf, 2012)
The early years as a publisher proved difficult mainly due to the fact that retailers were interested in well known brands like Atari. Many of Amazin' Software's internal employees disliked the name of the company, and so following multiple meetings, the new name Electronic Arts was established. Another change within the company came after nine years as CEO Hawkins left Electronic Arts and formed 3DO. (Henderson, 2009)
Also in the 1990s, EA began to expand buying multiple developers. Then early in the 2000’s, EA became one of the world's largest third-party publishers. Currently, the company's most successful products are sports games published under their EA Sports label; they also develop games based on popular movie licenses and games from long-running franchises like Need for Speed, Medal of Honour, The Sims, Command & Conquer and the later games in the Burnout series. (Wolf, 2012)
In 2007, John Riccitiello became EA’s CEO and following on from Probst’s, he continued to acquire more developer based companies and continued the growth of their long running franchised games. Riccitiello also made a bid for Take-Two, EA's main competitor. The acquisition led to delays and eventually Take-Two declined the offer. It is said by critics that this was a bad…...

The major problem faced by the passengers is delay in scheduled arrival time of bus to bus stop. The ITS- Intelligent Transport System is widely implemented to provide required information to passengers. In ITS every bus is mounted with a GPS module and electronic displays boards displaying arrival time of bus are placed in every bus stops. The Global position system (GPS) mounted as part of the Vehicle Mounted Unit in the bus will receive the longitude and latitude coordinates from the Satellite through a process of triangulation. This information is then sent across to the Central Control station through the wireless communication link – GSM / GPRS. Emergencies always happen and in case of emergency cell phones come in handy. Students are required to pay attention in class, yet no one said anything about having to pay attention during lunch or passing periods. Because of this rule, you don’t get any help because of the fact that you cannot use cell phones. Plus you don’t want to get in trouble, but you need to help the person who is hurt. Phones can be silenced during class or study periods and active only in appropriate places. Like if you were after school and you have to silence it for athletic sports, stay after to get help from a teacher, in a library and etc. Because of a small mistake, students get punished.
