Food, the one thing all human beings can agree upon its necessity for our survival. Ever walked into a grocery store and gotten a headache from the bombardment of food certifications. USDA Organic, Certified Humane Raised & Handled, Natural, Fair Trade Certified, Non-GMO Project Verified, and Food Alliance are just a few of the dizzying array of food certifications circling around. The simple truth only two of the multitudes of certifications around should warrant your attention. Some will contend that Fair Trade has its merits, really? The Fair Trade association developed from the need to offer protection and security for coffee farmers. Fair Trade exists to provide premiums to farmers to ensure the farmers gets a standardized price and were not exploited for labor. Sounds fair right? Fair Trade lacks any governmental branch, its criteria is created from within its own walls. Where does the money really go? To the laborers? Better farming conditions? Or in someone’s bank account? There is unfortunately no way to trace the funds making Fair Trade hard to trust and impossible to verify. This leaves only USDA organic and Non-GMO Project Verified as the real top two contenders each with their own subtle flaws. Unlike every other certification USDA Organic is regulated by U.S. Department of Agriculture (Hence the name USDA) and verified by a third party. In order for food to bare the USDA Organic label a strict set of qualifications must be adhered/followed this certification…...

The other Cisco certification is CCIE (Cisco certified internetwork expert) this just happens to be the highest level of certification Cisco has, and with this you will be highly sought after and in a league of your own. CCIE is one of the most difficult certifications to date, so much so that around 2010 there was only 21k CCIE professionals on the planet, so complicated there are 7 specializations to the program. Alternative Teaching Certification

...in Finance and prior to returning to SEMO to pursue a second degree in secondary math education I attempted to receive my degree through the alternate teaching certification program in Missouri called American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence (ABCTE). To be eligible for ABCTE you must already have a bachelor degree with a GPA of 2.5 or higher and have a desire to teach a high need subject at the middle or high school level. In order to receive certification you must pass an exam in your specific content area as well as a professional teaching knowledge exam as well as complete sixty contact hours with children. Most people complete the alternative certification program in 8-10 months. Although ABCTE is somewhat different from Teach for America and it’s requirements are more rigorous I personally still did not feel as though I would be fully prepared to take on a classroom of students after completing the program. I felt as though I would have the knowledge to teach my specific content area but I would still be lacking in the actual teaching technique aspect so I can only imagine how those participating in the Teach for America program feel after only a five-week training session. I was even told by a local school faculty member that even though school boards are suppose to view the alternative certification the same as a bachelor degree in education they indeed do not. If I was a recruit for Teach for America I would be worried that school boards would not......

Studying develops specific skill and knowledge, but it is the presentation of your skill and knowledge that satisfies the exam. This difference is vital to successful exam study. Multiple choice: What’s right and what’s wrong? Knowing what is wrong (and why it is wrong) as well as what is right, demonstrates mastery, and can lead you safely through the minefield of exam distracters (incorrect answer choices). Ineffective study may leave you knowing only a narrow vision of what is right in a particular circumstance. Multiple choice certification exams emulate the real world by including subtle knowledge, descriptions, and information. On the job, a customer: • May not provide information in a standard way every time • May present you with information that is irrelevant to the job • May end up confusing several different issues, but mistakenly present just one issue Memorizing obvious factual knowledge may not deliver enough. Certification exams probe for mastery-level ability - beyond knowledge of a simple fact. You must be able to actively apply your knowledge in skills such as troubleshooting, installing or configuring. Follow a balanced study “diet” Look at an exam topic from......

A Certified Valuation Analyst accreditation is a statement that an individual has attained a level of knowledge in business valuations. Once this level is reached, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) considers this level worthy of recognition, one is then awarded the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). To become certified by NACVA, the candidate is required to successfully complete a meticulous training and testing process.
