Advertising Trends Advertising is a form of marketing used to persuade an audience to take or continue some action communication. The two most significant commercial digital marketing trends are content marketing and mobile marketing. Content marketing is any marketing that involves the creation and sharing of media and publishing content in order to acquire and retain customers. Mobile marketing is marketing with a mobile device like smart phones or IPods. “Content marketing makes up 29.2 percent of all commercial digital marketing trends, and content marketing makes up 15.1 percent of all commercial digital marketing trends.” (2013 Chaffey) Content marketing’s purpose is to attract and retain customers by consistently creating relevant and valuable content with the intention of changing or enhancing consumer behavior. It is an ongoing process that is best integrated into an overall marketing strategy. Content marking is core of communicating with customers without actually selling. Content marking is also called non-interruption marketing. “Instead of pitching your products or services, you are delivering information that makes your buyer more intelligent. The essence of this content strategy is the belief that if we, as business, deliver consistent, ongoing valuable information to buyers, they ultimately reward us with their business and loyalty.” (Content marketing 2014) There are seven business goals of content marketing such as “brand awareness or reinforcement, lead conversion, customer conversion, customer service, customer loyalty, customer upsell, and passionate subscribers.” (Pulizzi 2011) Content marketing includes blogs, webcasts, magazines, social media, events, newsletters, and videos. Because content marketing is so broad and includes different…...

Trends in Medicine Advertising

...One of the most innovative trends in print advertising is medicine advertisement. The content of these particular advertisements (ads) are intriguing to me. I intend to analyze five medicinal ads to find the tools used by advertisers and to explore the positive and negative aspects of advertising medicine through print ads for the public. The people who develop ads to market prescription medicine products must have an inkling of what the reader wants to see. For instance, the ads in a parenting magazine most often target mothers. The ads in a sports magazine predominately target athletes. How do the advertisers know what the reader will respond to? Patterns are tools that help us to narrow our thinking down and put thoughts into categories that we identify with. Patterns allow us to store information in blocks so that we do not have to relearn information that has already been learned. Some patterns are universal and most people have some categories or patterns that other people have. An example of a universal human pattern is using language to communicate. Other patterns that we have, may be derived from our own experience and unlike those of others. Patterns are useful in advertising because advertisers can target their reader by tapping into specific categories. Perception is a person's understanding of the information they receive. Depending on their experience or their understanding they will categorize their perception and in turn it will become a thought......

Each of these key factors are continually changing and growing on a daily basis. Looking into how these factors play a role in advertising will give a better understanding of the changes are affecting or can affect advertising. Innovation will always be a factor to look at because of the fact the innovation is constantly growing and making products better (Sissors, 2012). Who could forget sitting there listening to a commercial and in the commercial the words new and innovated are involved. Innovation is basically taking a product and it growing to meet the standards of the consumer. The product is growing and changing. If one were to look at that product they would see that it may have a higher speed for browsing or in some other area be faster, the design may be sleeker than it previously was, or it may hold more capabilities. All the changes are coming more quickly and it can be difficult to keep up, especially with budgeting. A company only budgets so much money for advertising and if the products are rolling out more quickly yet the budget has not grown then there will be no way to advertise as much as needed. There will be times when innovation can help in......

In this way, human services programs are always affected directly or indirectly depending on fluctuations in the national economy or the political decisions. "Much of the variation in delivering broad public services and alleviating poverty can be attributed to the way public resources are allocated by politicians" (The world Bank Group, 2011). Due of all of this, it can be add that the public investment of the government and the investments of the non-profit organizations are also influenced by the increase of the population, because the human services have to pay for better programs that will help the population in need. One important economic event that affect the human service field is the government spending. Budget spending allotted for human services such as food stamps, housing, unemployment, Medicare, and welfare impact the care provided to those in need of assistance. The economy, which is currently under distress, forces people into unemployment, fear of losing their homes, cars, and valuables. This causes an increase in those applying for services. ...Trend Paper Barbara Greenwood, Jamie Leon, Jessi Moore BSHS/305 July 28, 2014 Elaine McCullough Political and Economic Trends in Human Service Delivery Economic and political events relate to current trends in the human service field with the intentions of meeting the growing needs of people everywhere. High-financing requirements provide clients with services in various areas, which are critical to their well-being. Unfortunately, this task is becoming harder by the day to contend with, and the client suffers when quality care is unavailable. According to “Human Services in a Time of Economic Crisis” (2009) “adding to the human services funding deficit, and constituting a second form of disinvestment, are a number of direct cuts made to these programs over the past several years.” The political relationship links governmental policies as well as funding together. “Governmental policies determine who clients are, ways that clients may be serviced; funding influences the resources we have to help the increasing number of those in need.” (Woodside & McClam, 2011, p. 92). Trends will involve a variety of situations that will need the assistance of human services professionals. No matter what the trend is, the time, or the individual who it applies to, the ultimate goal is to meet the needs of the clients. Sociologische trends zijn van belang in het verband met de mogelijke consequenties voor het vrijetijdsgedrag en consumentengedrag.
